YOGA-COGNITIVE BEHAVIORAL GROUP THERAPY FOR ANXIETY!

You may know the benefits of meditation and/or yoga but haven’t had a positive experience with either. You also know the benefits of working with a therapist, but may not want to commit to therapy. Here you can try 6 weeks of group therapy where you’ll learn many ways to manage the stressors that life puts in front of you, with others that want to learn the same.

Y-CBT Model

  • Anxiety is a mind and body problem and impacts both the cognitive or thought processes and physiologic states of an individual

  • Neither yoga nor cognitive behavioral therapy fully address the complex symptoms of anxiety alone

  • Y-CBT blends the effective techniques of CBT with yogic exercises, breathing, and teachings

  • The result is a new highly effective system of therapy that simultaneously calms the anxiety of the mind and eases the stress in the body.

Process

The program will last for 6 weeks. (1 hour long call per week)

Program is completely virtual.

There will be a maximum of 10 members

Cost can be covered by insurance if it covers group therapy

$40 per session = $240 total (without insurance)

Initial Intake Call

An initial 50 minute intake will be completed by me with you to ensure that it’s a good fit for you- also covered by insurance.

Out of pocket cost $160
